چکیده
In the EU, sheep bred for dairy and meat purposes are of low quality, their economic value is not even enough to cover shearing costs, wool generally seen as a useless by-product farming, resulting in large illegal disposal or landfilling. order minimize environmental health-related problems considering elemental compositions discarded materials such waste wool, there need recycle reuse develop sustainable innovative technologies transformation processes achieve manufacturing. This study aims examine application biocomposite production with help hydrolysis process without any chemicals binding material. The impact superheated water mixing hydrolyzed fibers kraft pulp on performance was investigated characterized using SEM, FTIR, tensile strength, DSC, TGA, soil burial testing comparison 100% biocomposite. increases hydrophilicity homogeneity contributes increasing speed biodegradation. entirely self-supporting, provides primary nutrients nourishment, observed be completely biodegradable when buried within 90 days. Among temperatures tested raw 150 °C seems most appropriate preparation regarding physicochemical properties suitability cellulose. combination use manufacturing an eco-friendly, paper/biocomposite will open new potential opportunities utilization agricultural packaging applications impact.

Impact of Maleic Anhydride, Nanoclay, and Silica on Jute Fiber-reinforced Polyethylene Biocomposites
Jute fiber/polyethylene biocomposites were prepared using a hot press molding technique. The effects of maleic anhydride, clay, and silica on the physical, mechanical, and thermal properties of jute fiber-reinforced polyethylene (PE) biocomposites with different fiber loadings (5, 10, 15, and 20 wt.%) were investigated. The biocomposites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectros...

In this work, an economical modifier silane agent—KH550—was used for surface treatment of basalt fiber. Then, a biodegradable poly(butylene succinate) (PBS)/modified basalt fiber (MBF) biocomposite was successfully developed. The effects of silane treatment and fiber mass content on crystalline structure, isothermal crystallization process and mechanical performance of composites were evaluated...

متن کاملMicromechanical model for hydroxyapatite whisker reinforced polymer biocomposites
A micromechanical model was developed to predict the elastic moduli of hydroxyapatite (HA) whisker reinforced polymer biocomposites based upon the elastic properties of each phase and the reinforcement volume fraction, morphology, and preferred orientation. The effects of the HA whisker volume fraction, morphology, and orientation distribution were investigated by comparing model predictions wi...
